These pictures show the aftermath of a January 2005 ice storm in Geneva, Switzerland. Temperatures were reported to be around 14° F with winds up to 60 MPH.

The Iceland volcano Eyjafjallajökull erupted last month in an incredible display when the clouds of ash mixed with streaks of lightning and bright glowing lava.
