Waimea Bay is a spot on the Hawaiian island of Oahu’s north shore which gets some of the biggest waves on the Island. The outer break is frequented by locals and professional surfers during the Winter months when large swells create waves in excess of 25 feet. These images are of the inner shorebreak, which is famous for being one of the most tumultuous and recognizable waves in the world.
